A Wonderful Vintage 8ct Blue Star Sapphire Ring, Wedding Band Retro Art Deco Style, circa 1950. This gorgeous estate ring holds a rich blue star sapphire, showing a glowing striation when turned in the light. The center stone measures about 10 x 12mm and is estimated at about 8 carats in gem weight. The setting is done in a classic Retro Art Deco style and is composed of a rhodium finish over a base and has some maker or designer faintly stamped on the inside but I cannot make it out. Overall the ring measures about 9/16 inch long by about 5/8 inch wide from side to side. Ring Size: about 5. This ring was acquired through an estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition.
