A Wonderful Antique Victorian Amethyst Diamond Ring, Wedding Vintage 19th Century Gold Setting. This beautiful antique ring holds an amethyst at center with facets on the back measuring about 10 x 8mm oval. The stone is original and in very good condition for its age. The sides are adorned with eight antique rose cut diamonds set in silver. Before the 1920's diamonds were set in silver as the use of white gold was not in place yet.
The setting is antique yellow gold. Overall the ring measures about 7/16 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide from side to side. Ring Size: about 8 1/2 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping). This ring dates to the Victorian Era and was acquired through an estate collection.
